Abstract：

This presentation will provide a brief overview of journals published by the Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC), with a focus on Chemical Science. As the flagship journal of RSC, Chemical Science is a diamond open-access, interdisciplinary journal covering all areas of chemical sciences, free for both readers and authors. The talk will cover the journal’s scope, peer-review process, key considerations for manuscript preparation and submission, editorial perspectives on evaluating submissions, and strategies to maximize research impact.

Brief introduction：

Dr. Tingyu Huang is a Scientific Editor at Chemical Science, the flagship journal of the Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC). She received her Ph.D. in Industrial Catalysis from the Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics (DICP), Chinese Academy of Sciences, and conducted research visits at the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology. Her expertise lies in homogeneous/heterogeneous catalysis for energy conversion. Dr. Huang joined the RSC Desymmetrizing Active Methylene Derivatives Shanghai office in early 2021 and became a Scientific Editor for Chemical Science in early 2024.
