Abstract：

Chem is the first chemistry journal from Cell Press and a sister journal to Cell. It is launched to publish high-profile papers in general chemistry subjects, provide a home for seminal and insightful research, and showcase how fundamental studies in chemistry and its subdisciplines may help in finding potential solutions to the global challenges of tomorrow. As a premier journal of Cell Press, Chem is devoted to contributing to a positive impact of chemistry on society and targeting to continue to be one of the top leading journals in chemistry. The 2023 Impact Factor of Chem is 19.1.
